Our Home Study is complete and sent to INS (Immigration) for approval. We have our appointments for yet another set of fingerprints. Now there's a list a mile long on documents that we need to get so we will be ready to submit our dossier when we get approval. There's also a few things that we need to re-do.
We have set up a fundraising event at Chili's restaurant in Shakopee for the entire month of June! It's a neat program: We provide a copy of a voucher to our friends and family and when you order anything at Chili's and present the voucher we will receive 10% of the total towards our adoption. We are also looking into some kind of a meal w/silent auction.
After an hour on the phone with our adoption coordinator we are excited to find out that referrals for children in Moscow are coming really quick. There's only 1 other family waiting for a girl in the Moscow program and if we were in a position that we could travel in the next month (which we are certainly not) we could take a referral for an infant boy.
Our prayer is that God will provide! That our fundraising efforts would be blessed, and that the timing of everthing would line up in His perfect plan.
In January our church celebrates "Blessing Sunday" in which we are prayed over with our specific prayers and those prayers are prayed over regularly. We have seen God blessing those prayers over the past few months. We prayed for blessing in our business and for provision for our adoption and we praise God for showing us He is our provider.
